Learning for Life ( LFL) is the part of our unique curriculum to provide meaningful education to our students. It incorporates four main aspects of life which will transform a student into a successful professional and a good human being as well during adulthood. These are Knowledge, Values, Skills & Discipline. It prepares the students to successfully face the challenges of life.
The focus areas for achieving Learning for Life goals are Academics, Social, Ethical & Character development, Critical & Creative thinking, Decision making & Conflict resolution, Interpersonal relationships, Life skills, Self-esteem, Writing skills & Language development & Physical fitness.
We achieve our LFL goals through interactive class room lectures, discussions, Teaching Learning Materials and activity based learning. For example, let the students demonstrate their knowledge/skills by engaging them in different situations/ activities and apply it. This will develop decision making skills & self-confidence in the students.
Hence, we conclude that the main purpose of education is all round development of the students and not just scoring excellent percentage of marks or grades.
